On July the 16th, the project of the Belgian artist Jacques Charlier "100 sexes of artists", victims of cenzorship at the Biennal of Venice this year, was shown on Place d'Armes at Luxembourg city with the attendance of Paul Helminger, Mayor of the City of Luxembourg, Enrico Lunghi, curator of the project and the artist Jacques Charlier.

Asia-Europe Workshop

The Asia-Europe and its partners, Casino Luxembourg - Forum d’art contemporain and the University of Luxembourg are organizing the first phase of the 7th Asia-Europe Art Camp - Art Workshop for Visual Arts 2009/2010 in Luxembourg from 05-19 July 2009. The Art Camp will continue in 2010 in Shanghai, China and will conclude with the presentation of the artworks at the Luxembourg Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo 2010. The artistic processes will thus take place over a period of 12 months starting in Luxembourg located in the heart of Europe and home to a melting pot of immigrants from different European countries and continuing in Shanghai, the Chinese megapolis which gathers very different people from all over China.
